Riding in West Virginia and on the Blue Ridge Parkway

June 29 - July 3, 2007.

Tamera and I rode over 1800 miles during this trip. Across Ohio, across West Virginia to Maryland and briefly up into Pennsylvania. Then down through West Virginia along the eastern mountains and into Viginia and onto the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took the BRP to just north of Ashville, NC and then back home through Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky. We saw a lot of great scenery and took a lot of pictures for HOG's ABCs of Touring. We got points for six states and for the difficult to earn city point of "X" for Xenia, OH and a county point of "Y" for Yancey County, NC. Our trip home was 470 miles of mostly interstate highway which Tamera did reluctanly but effectively.
